Witchcraft – Witchcraft (colored vinyl w/bonus 7″) import from the UK

“‘Witchcraft’ is a record which conjures up the macabre essence of vintage Pentagram and, of course, Black Sabbath, whilst incorporating influences as wide apart as the Jethro Tull-esque folky Prog of ‘Her Sisters They Were Weak’ and the bludgen riffing style of early 70s Bang in ‘I Want You To Know’. Elsewhere, ‘Schyssta Lögner’ evokes memories of Sweden’s original hard-rocking Progsters, Novembre, and the inclusion of the cover ‘Please Don’t Forget Me’ from Bobby Leibling’s 1970 pre-Pentagram outfit, Stone Bunny, pays further homage to his criminally overlooked genius.
Witchcraft are a band that can swing effortlessly from orthodox Doom to Blues, Folk and Jazz, whilst always remaining shrouded in the cloak of influence from some of the more obscure moments of the 70s cult rock underground. Time has shown that this timeless 2004 release sounds as fresh today as it did back then.”

Tracklist:

Side One
1. Witchcraft
2. The Snake
3. Please Don’t Forget Me (Stone Bunny)
4. Lady Winter
5. What I Am
6. Schyssta Lögner
Side Two
1. No Angel or Demon
2. I Want You to Know
3. It’s So Easy
4. You Bury Your Head
5. Her Sisters They Were Weak

Witchcraft – Firewood (colored vinyl w/bonus 7″) import from the UK

Import from the UK. New and never played single LP on colored vinyl with bonus 7″.

“Firewood is the second album from Swedish Doom Rock legends, Witchcraft. Moving on from where they left off on their cult-classic self-titled 2004 opus, 2005’s Firewood gained the band a wider audience, particularly in America.
The Sabbath, Pentagram and garage rock influences are still strong and clearly heard, whilst the actual songwriting and production became more defined. Key tracks such as Chylde of Fire and Queen of Bees are firm favourites by fans today and staple additions to the set list.

Witchcraft – Alchemist (colored vinyl) import from the UK

“With this, their third album, Witchcraft finally achieved what they always threatened. The Alchemist was an album that saw them move away from the generic “Doom-Rock” tag into something much more vibrant and worthy. It also was their biggest seller to date and considered a a return to the form shown on their classic self titled debut.”

Tracklist:

1. Walk Between The Lines
2. If Crimson Was Your Colour
3. Leva
4. Hey Doctor
5. Samaritan Burden
6. Remembered

Storm Corrosion – Storm Corrosion (vinyl color unknown) import from Europe

Available Mid-June 2012

“STORM CORROSION is the long-discussed and highly anticipated collaboration between two of the current music scene’s most innovative and multi-talented artists; Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth. The pair have been friends since the early ’00s, when Wilson co-produced Opeth’s revered ‘Blackwater Park’ album.

Over the years, they’d often spoken of working on a project together, but it wasn’t until recently that they managed to make something happen, when Mikael flew over to visit Steve in the UK and they ended up in Wilson’s home studio throwing ideas around. That visit was the nascence of a whole self-titled album, written and produced by the pair and mixed by Wilson.

The sound of STORM CORROSION can best be described as enchanting, orchestral, ambient, epic (half the album’s tracks clock in around the 10 minute mark) and nothing short of surprising to the new ear. However, the musicians’ respective fanbases will be primed to appreciate the new output, with Wilson’s recent solo album, ‘Grace For Drowning’ and Opeth’s ‘Heritage’ having brought them to a logical place to understand STORM CORROSION.

This eponymous collection is almost viewed as one side of a musical triangle.”

Tracklist:

LP 1

01. DRAG ROPES
02. STORM CORROSION
03. HAG

LP 2

04. HAPPY
05. LOCK HOWL
06. LJUDET INNAZ
